This is brand new, only the larger 5 door Pajero, the new NT Model, in petrol and diesel, (forget petrol) anyway it is cofirmed the new towing capacity is 3000 kg... And not the short wheelbase 3 door, again this is the larger Pajero, and only the new NT Model for 2009.

This puts it ahead of the Prado for sure, as far as a major tow vehicle goes. Now you can easily go over that with a larger van, so this really only puts you into the 18' range, maybe 19' with care not to overload it... But it is still a HUGE improvement.

Another vehicle to consider for a smaller to medium sized Bushtracker, and certainly worth a look.

Hi Steve

Only problem is that over 2500kg the max allowed ball weight is 180kg (taken from Mitsubishi website). Looks like Mitsu have done a Landrover to make it look good Wink

Regards

Darryl

Oooohhh Yuk ! Bushmit, you know; you are right.! We just looked it up.

Well, don't be fooled, that is no good at all. You want 10% on the ball for safey at high speed on the highway in case you have to make a radical move to avoid an accident. In this case, it is not really a towing capacity upgrade...

Pppppphhhhttttt...! That is air going out of the balloon. Thanks to Darryl, who has looked up and read the fine print. Don't be fooled!!! stg
