Travelled from Alice Springs down the old Andado Track last weekend. Very scenic drive down to the western side of the Simpson Desert. Slow going for most of the drive with the track having been damaged by floods.
Some sections of soft sand crossing river beds. Lots of water still laying around Old Andado Homestead. Worth a visit if you get a chance.

I "see through the lens of a camera" too.................only its everybody elses Very Happy . In this case J & N, I am blown away. How gorgeous are those scenes??? We crossed the Simpson last year post a "little" flood. You win! Hands down!

Overall a great little alternative way from Dalhousie Springs to Alice Springs.
