The Pivot Blocks above the springs have to be Serviced, and the new blocks are going the distance of 50,000 kms and more, some up to 100,000 kms, but at some point they will have to be changed. Further, spring packs may need to be upgraded, or changed out, or at least re-arced on older vans.... But someone is stranded alongside the road out Bush right now....

They had their van serviced in W.A. and it seems the Service Agent did not replace the Nylock locking nuts. That or they did not torque it properly, or something else dumb. A spring hanger has fallen off, dropped the spring on to the road, and damaged the spring. A top Bushtracker is stranded, broke down, for NO GOOD REASON... Evil or Very Mad

It is embarassing to have such a top piece of equipment stranded alongside the road, for the incompetence or ignorance of a Service Agent. Check to reinforce the proper proceedure with them. New Nylock nuts, and proper torque. Also, read up in the Owners Section about dropping spring packs, as the hangers wear in, in place, and are location matched as well as directional. They have to be marked for place and direction, and replaced exactly the same way...

Stay on the Road with the Ranger....I am here to help, and I am FREE.... And just about no one has seen more of this gear than me.

Right Playboy, you understand don't you.... Let's hope you're not the only one listening to good solid advice..

Incidently, Horse Lovers: At the Pacific Coast Reining Championships, the Top Professionals in Australia, on Investors expensive $$ fully imported horses, ran scores of 72-73 the top performance scores for the Show. Playboy here, my veteran old donkey (Yulgilbar Oaks Playboy) ran a 70, and a 71... We are not winning, but we are scaring them..
