|
|
Hello Friends,
Look, we have now been able to install the new style heavy duty water tanks. There are a few reservations, and you have to be careful how you fill them and do not over pressurize them, but with these little precautions they can be retrofitted now.
More and more People have been renovating older Bushtracker vans, some quite extensively updating them with the latest equipment. Email us at Bushtracker and we will tell you what pictures we need to assess the situation.
We have made the mold, sitting in the oven, and spitting out these pure Polyethylene interlocking tanks, 10-12mm thick... They do not need stone guards and are very durable.
In this picture, they are sitting in place, but upside down for ease, not mounted yet...
They will be interlocking, for strength and maximum volume of 90 litres.
And here the drains are set low, with the profile of the tank lower... Note that you are looking at it upside down.
The top will fit up to the floor area, in a recess in this style, in this case I have turned it over and it is right side up...
Here are some cut sections showing the strength and thickness...
A further upgrade for you to consider...
Kind regards, Steven Gibbs, Director |
