Hi Guys,

We are having a small awning roof made for our tunnel boot kitchen (Ackland stainless one that came with our van). Van is 2016 - 16 ft compact van.

We are looking at adding a small sail track above the tunnel boot as per picture below. 3-4 rivets plus sikaflex to the van.

Can anyone see any major issues/risks with us drilling in the area as per the photo attached?

We will also be adding a sailtrack to the outside of the aussie traveller anti flap bar and then using 2 poles. So load will be spread out.

Thanks Steve.
I'll post some completion pics, should be a good water proof roof for the tunnel boot area.
