Hi there, is anybody able to confirm if these catches are the correct replacement for my 2008 van. On the surface they seem a little bit cheaper than I first thought.....thanks.

Hi Gareth,
It may be better if you also posted a picture of the existing catches you have in your BT.
I sourced the direct replacement ones for my 2014 BT from Malaga but I would have to look them up first as that was about 2 years ago and not sure if I have their address. But they are a National supplier.
Mine do not match yours.

Regards,
Dave.

Gareth,
I took my damaged door catch to :
HAFELE, 29-33 Juna Drive, Malaga. 92493833.

Don't ring them they have a multitude of parts and won't be able to help.
The lady at the desk showed me the catalogue and as I had got all of the measurements from mine, and wrote them on paper before I went, eventually found the correct one in their catalogue.
They ordered me in a quantity and they took about a week + to come in and that's the end of the story.
All the best.

Dave

If the catch has broken you can get just the catch without the knob and striker plate.

I've these as replacements without any problems on our 2008 van. I didn't think they were that dear??????

Hi guys, this is the dilemma. The whole kit is only 7 bux.
What I'm after is the rosette as I'm looking at getting my Door fronts finished in a hard clear coat and want new all to look new from the front. If the lock is part of the kit and is correct then that's a bonus as the rosette by themselves is about the same price.

Regards.

You can always get them from Bushtracker... Wink

If you overload drawers, if you are doing hard travel, if they are out of adjustment, if your springs are running flat or bottoming out, if you travel too hard with too high of tyre pressure then: Yes you can break the older style..

For this, pictures, and more information, you should SEARCH things like this in the Owners Section.

Now if it is the case that you have any of the conditions above, hard riding or overloaded, I would suggest you fix those problems. But the new gear we use has all drawers that could be overloaded done in the new metal body catches. Again search the Owners Section, and you can buy them from us. The metal body version comes with the same selection of ferrules and knobs in your choice of colour....

Kind regards, Steven, Director....
