Many of you, that have not gone through the excercise of seeing how the vans are built yet, think there are comparisons to Bushtracker so you price up your idea of a comparison... Be careful how they measure their size, as you may be surprised that it is NOT in your benefit.

Beside the obvious differences is quality, finish, and engineering that affects Lifestyle value and resale value; there is another SHOCK you should be aware of. Bushtracker gives you a realistic Fair Dinkum measure of the living area, we always have. A 21' is a measure of the floor area in the living quarters of 21'. One of the so called leading competitors (until you go to their Factory) one of them measures the outside of the van and their 21' is only 19' of living area.

Yet they will call it, and cost it, on a 21' basis for you. Obviously ours costs more, well I am here to tell you is costs more because it IS more. Besides better quality, better finish, better engineering, it is also a larger van.

One more bonus yet is that we ALSO do not count the nosecone area. Our unique design in the Industry, that nosecone over the spare tyres, can be utilized to run the bed up into. If you do that you actually get a one foot larger layout than even the floor area measure. So even if you think you are comparing apples to apples, because most don't measure floor area, even if they did our layouts will seem larger because the ARE...

Anyway, becareful out there, not everyone is going to try and take care of your Best Interests like Bushtracker... Wink

Steve
Do you mean by 'floor area' length the distance from the start of the floor at the front (ie front wall) to the start of the clearance angle at the back (ie where the floor angles upwards), or the 'end' of the clearance angle at the rear of the van?

Cheers
Bob

The departure angle is still used as floor area, used in storage, lounge, benchtop and cabinetry, or lockers, or rear ensuite.

So really front wall to back wall, inside measure, not counting the nosecone which is a bonus on top of that if you utilize it for the bed...

Hi Steve
I like to think of our van as a bit like the Tardis.
Although it is a 20' van the inside actually measures 21' from bed head to back wall.
To get the same living space in a "normal" front boot van it would have to be a 22' to 23' van
