Isuzu nps / canter / daily etc - what bushy are you dragging

Post by Almeister »

We have an nps300 and as soon as weve paid that off im joining the bushy club!!

We are looking at around a 2008-10 on our budget and im interested in speaking to people with a tow vehicle our size and what vans people have to match.

I use my rig mostly for work doing remote communications work - out back of beyond in wa. I do lots of miles on heavily corrugated roads driving between cattle stations and mining camps etc and when playing i like camping on remote beach sites where possible.

Looking at around a 19” van - currently have a 13” coromal dunger van but want a bit more luxury with a dunny and shower inside being a priority.

Would also like an outside shower so when im parked up on a beach we can use the dunny inside and the shower out side.

Little surprised in the tow section of the forum there isnt any discussion on 4wd trucks- pulling a van with a truck is a dream - my little van could do a tail shake from time to time that was disconcerting in the colorado but the nps 300 laughs at it.

Who elseis pulli g a bushie with a 4wd truck

G'Day,

Just read your post re your Isuzu.

Take a look at "YouTube" and a contributor named "Nowhere Bound Touring".

Cheers Sundy

Not yet but seriously considering the NPS with a super single conversion.
I have a HR licence but would like to register it with the 4500kg GVM as rego etc would be cheaper and who knows may be one day the 'boss' will drive it. But looking at the crew cab I not if it can be sold this way and with it being roughly 3000kg bare it may leave only 500kg spare once its kitted out with dual tanks, bar, winch etc. But hey with the 6500kg GVM I could load a small car on the back as well - lol
